Scholastic Book Fair
Scholastic Book Fair
The Scholastic Book Fair is coming to St. James! Book Fair is a great way to support the school library while helping your child discover the power of reading. We invite everyone to come shop Scholastic’s wonderful collection of books and toys at our Wild West Book Fair.
Book Fair will be open in the school library November 13-17 from 7:45 AM – 3:00 PM (we will close shortly after church on Friday). The fair will also be open for church parishioners on Sunday, November 12 from 10:30 AM - 12:00 PM.
Children will visit Book Fair with their class early in the week to browse, shop, and create a wish list using the following classroom visit schedule:

There are several ways you can support our Book Fair:
- Send money for your child to shop with on their classroom visit day or send money with them later in the week once you’ve looked over their wish list.
- Come shop with your child! Classroom visits, lunchtime, and before school are great opportunities for your child to show you books they’ve found.
- Purchase books for your child’s classroom by shopping from teacher wish lists posted in the library. Your family or child will be honored on a bookplate inside any book purchased for the classroom.
- Volunteer during book fair hours to be a cashier, assist students in making wish lists, aid parents and students in locating books, assist with set-up, etc. You can sign up for as little as an hour or the whole day. Slots are divided into one hour increments to work with any schedule! Link to sign-up: Book Fair Sign-Up Genius.
